Hi, I'm Jess — a boy mom of three, a licensed cosmetologist of 12 years, and the heart behind Refreshed by Nature LLC.
For more than a decade, I've had the privilege of helping women feel beautiful through my work in the beauty industry. But becoming a mom taught me that feeling good goes far beyond what we see in the mirror.
Somewhere between motherhood, work, relationships, responsibilities, and taking care of everyone else, I realized how easy it is for women to lose touch with themselves.
And I've been there, too.
That's what inspired Refreshed by Nature — a space built around the idea that sometimes we don't need to completely reinvent ourselves. We simply need a chance to refresh, create, and reconnect.

For me, wellness isn't about perfection.
It's not about having the perfect body, eating perfectly, or having life completely figured out.
It's about feeling better from the inside out.
It's nourishing yourself, getting outside, moving your body, caring for your skin, laughing with your kids, slowing down when you need to, and giving yourself permission to begin again when life gets messy.
That's the kind of wellness I want to share here — realistic, imperfect, and rooted in real life.

This phrase has become a reminder to me that the seasons that stretch us can also shape us.
I've had moments where I've had to start over, reassess what matters, and find my way back to myself. And I'm still learning, too.
I don't have it all figured out — and I don't want to pretend that I do.
I'd rather share the journey.
